Contributor's comments: We used this expression at school in the 80s in Adelaide as well.

Contributor's comments: As kids in Adelaide during the 1980s, 'bulk' was used to add emphasis to a statement, for example 'That was bulk fun!'

Contributor's comments: There were several variants of "bulk" when I went to school in the 80s. Bulk also referred to a large weight, volume or number - "There was a bulk load on the back of the truck". The word "bulkage" was used as an exclamation of pleasure - "That movie was bulkage!".
