A sharp blow to the skin (usually someone else's bare legs) with a cupped hand: Why did you give me a camel bite? Compare crow peck, horse bite, monkey shine.

Contributor's comments: Camel Bite was also used in Perth (as a schoolboy wearing shorts on the back seat of the bus, a bit of a game by inflicting camel bites on each other!

Contributor's comments: In Sydney they're called "horse" or "horsey" bites.
