Contributor's comments: I lived in Darwin for two years. I remember moving there and reading the newspaper and thinking there were a lot of people selling grass/lawns and why would so many people want to buy lawn. I had only ever heard of the term garage sale before then. I have lived in a lot of different places and have only heard the term lawnsale in Darwin.
