logodile

when fishing in NT rivers we are always on the lookout for Crocodiles; often they turn out to be just a log floating in the current: Lookout mate there's a crocodile coming our way! No way mate - take another look - it's a Logodile.

Contributor's comments: I have often heard this term used when boating on the Murray in Northern Vic. Presumably it refers to the damage that the floating log can do to water craft.
