at the end of a camp, an ice cream container is filled with "spare" jocks found around the boys dorm, water added and frozen. At the last meal get-together the jock block is revealed and anyone missing jocks can have a pick at the block to remove them. I came across this when I moved to North Qld from Adelaide in the early 80's: Hey Jonesey, that's your jocks in the jock block!
