Contributor's comments: When I was at school in the late 70s, "Passion Killers' were what we females called BIG underpants like Cottontails - rather than the tiny bikini pants we all wore. The Nuns at our bording school tried in vain to promote the wearing of "big white waist-busters" - especially to school dances.
Contributor's comments: When I was a kid on Amberley RAAF base in the 50s this term was common for air force issue underpants. I never actually saw the underpants, but by reputation they were ugly and uncomfortable. It applied only to men's UPs and was mainly used by the women who had to deal with them.
